\ud83c\udf0f\ud83d\udccd What struggles do our queer siblings face in Uganda, and what struggles do they face here when they decide to flee? We want to talk about this with John Solomon Nabuyanda and other guests. In the first part, John will talk about the 2023 anti-homosexuality bill and its consequences for queer people in Uganda. He will then talk about how queer people in Uganda and neighboring countries are organizing to create safer spaces for each other in their home countries, as well as on the move. In the second part, two queers will join John to talk about how their fight against queerphobia in Germany continues, and how it intersects with racism by the authorities. Finally, our guests will report on the growing Queers Uganda Support Initiative in Munich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
